End of the Dream by Phillip Wylie. Published in 1971 just before his death, the book is set in 2023 but presents a retrospective view all the things that had gone wrong with the environment since the early 1970s. At first reading one might think Wylie's examples are overdrawn but a careful reading of the daily news, particularly global news, might make one think his examples were understated; pharmaceuticals entering the water supply, new toxic chemicals and climate changes. Understandably he missed genetic manipulation, the impacts of the world wide web, terrorism let loose and the consequences of Malthusian overpopulation. Wylie offers no beautiful genius scientist to save the collective "us" from an ignominious end.

A great dystopian book I just recently finished is Fearless by Tim Lott. In my opinion, this book would be an extremely good add for the site.

A year or so ago, I offered to buy this domain name from you. Well, if you are curious you can now see why. I have a feature length documentary - Dystopia: What is to be done? - is available for free viewing on the site: www.DystopiaFilm.com. I also have written a book of the same name. Links to it on Amazon, as well as an educational resources page are also on the website. I don't suppose you will want to review it as your site seems to exclusively deal with fiction and both my film and book are non-fiction . . . but you might want to have a look anyway. All the best.
